In a recent survey by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) the top three trends for outdoor amenities include flexible use space (74%), charging stations for mobile devices (70%), and bike storage (70%).

Wouldn’t it be great to have your own little zen area for downward dogs? Or a charging station to keep your mobile devices ready for streaming music or movies outdoors? These latest landscape trends help homeowners like you enjoy precious time outdoors during spring, summer and fall.

Maybe you’d like your home to be the neighborhood gathering spot, with green space to host a movie night, catch fireflies or play yard games. The survey’s top three most popular outdoor design elements include fire pits/ fireplaces (66%), lighting (65%) and seating/dining areas (64%). Wouldn’t a fire pit be fun for making s’mores and great conversation? Or maybe you’d like a spacious patio with dining space for friends and family.
