Magnolia Landscape & Design transformed our backyard into an up north retreat that is in the middle of the city. Thomas has a true passion for landscaping and understood our needs right from the start. He was genuinely excited about our project and blew us away with his plan. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and incredibly attentive to detail. Katie gave great design ideas and the plant advice was top notch. Jerrod was our project manager and is a boulder whisperer. Jerrod had excellent communication during the project and turned our sloped backyard into an entertainers dream with a huge fire pit and flat areas for kids to play. They even repurposed the stone from an old failing retaining wall into the cutest front yard patio. Magnolia exceeded our expectations. Magnolia recently helped us with a 3 part home project: Erosion remediation/control, fixing a settled/uneven paver patio, and designing/installing an attractive and practical landscaping solution for our backyard, which abuts a busy street.  We were really pleased with the final results of each project, and working with the entire Magnolia team was a pleasure- we have worked with a few other local landscaping companies, but Magnolia is by far the top of my list for who has been the best to work with and provided the best results, at a reasonable price!  Katie was amazing with her design help, and we're really pleased especially with the look of our backyard design- it looks natural, interesting, and really inviting and beautiful.  As with any project, there were challenges encountered, but Thomas (and also the rest of the team) handled all of it in a really professional manner, which was really helpful and made a huge difference for our experience.  Romero was also wonderful and so easy to work with, and he really knows his stuff!  He also has a really great eye to detail, and with him there, you know things will get done the best and right way!  The erosion control is working really well (even with a few heavy down pours since completion), which is a huge relief since we hired other landscapers in the past to try to fix this, without success- but finally, Magnolia was able to help us!  Our paver patio is also so much better, and finally there isn't accumulated water/dirt on it because of uneven grading, and our new backyard design is so beautiful!  Now every time we look outside and see it, it makes us smile, and makes our home feel even more inviting and peaceful- we didn't realize before what we were missing! Magnolia was great to work with. Thomas and Katie listened patiently as we changed our minds a couple times on the design. The site supervisor Brian was great to work with as he consistently communicated with us to clarify the finer details theoughout the days. It was satisfying to see the landscape team smiling and genually enjoying their job. The two spaces were transformed from overgrown bushes and weeds to beautiful and usable! Thomas, Katie, and team were easy to work with and very patient with answering all my questions throughout the process. They transformed our small and overgrown backyard into a space for kids to play while still looking polished and ready for hosting. Thomas and Katie helped provide great recommendations when we weren't sure exactly what we wanted – the actual construction process and team was extremely efficient and they readily executed any changes / feedback throughout the process. Magnolia completed an amazing backyard transformation for us! Our yard is pretty sloped and was terribly overgrown with buckthorn before. Magnolia graded the yard, added boulder outcropping walls to create flat usable grassy areas, and installed granite steps to connect the various levels. Their team also installed bluestone patios. They also refreshed our existing garden beds in the front and side yard that were overgrown with weeds and did some plantings for us. The end result is absolutely stunning. We are so pleased with how it turned out and it's exactly what I had hoped for. Magnolia does a fantastic job of creating refined yet natural outdoor spaces.
